Family Medical Leave Act Update News 2008
The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) has been amended by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 (NDAA) effective January 28, 2008. However, the FMLA poster, titled "Your Rights under the Family and Medical Leave of 1993," has NOT yet been revised by the responsible federal agency. Keep your existing FMLA posting displayed to continue to remain in compliance. The new revision of the posting will be released by the federal government sometime between April and July of 2008, at which time employers will be required to display the new version. Check back with us for news on the revision release schedule; we'll have it here as it becomes available from the federal government.
