| Hi folks!
We’re writing to pass along some important information on the status of the federal National Labor Relations Act (“NLRA”) posting, as well as to give you information on some new state changes. | |||||||
| ****** Important NLRA Posting Update ******* | |||||||
| The April 30th "post by" date for the new NLRA postings
has been indefinitely delayed. A new "post by" date will only be
established by the National Labor Relations Board after one or more
pending court cases challenging the posting requirement are resolved.
We anticipate this will take a number of months at the very least,
and we have now been told directly by the National Labor Relations
Board's Office of Public Affairs that the NLRA posting does NOT
need to be displayed at worksites in the meantime. As of April 24th,
PosterSolution.com will therefore no longer be shipping free copies of
the NLRA posting with all combo poster orders. We will update you as
further information becomes available. | |||||||
| State Changes | |||||||
Texas---The state has just updated its Child Labor posting. (available April 2012) However, Texas will be making an additional mandatory posting update to their WORKERS COMPENSATION posting shortly as well—likely in late June. If you need your posters immediately, we can ship you the currently available version of the Texas poster which includes the updated Child Labor posting, but NOT the updated Workers Compensation posting. To order for immediate delivery, please click here. (If you choose this option, please bear in mind that in order to remain in compliance after June, you’ll need to either re-order posters, or download a copy of the appropriate updated Texas Workers Comp posting when it becomes available from the Texas state government website, and post it over your existing Workers Comp posting.) If you would prefer to place your order but have us hold it until the updated Workers Compensation posting has been released by the state and incorporated into our TX posters (again, likely sometime in late June), please click here. |
